fog lights

so if i add fog lights to my truck, where does the wiring go and how do you turn the fog lights on inside the cab?

Then you would need to wire them to a switch. Unless you replaced your light switch with one from a SD that had fogs

i would wire them to a seperate switch. that way you can have em on with hi's or lo's without modding your headlight setup

i can do that. easy enough. but the ones that had it, you pulled out the switch? and was it independent of the head lights?

You pulled out the switch and could only have them on with the parking lights. and when the highs were on the fogs would turn off

Well guess what. While driving home i desided to play with my ligh switch and found out that i CAN pull it out. However, it will only pop out when the headlights are on. But turn it to the parking lights and it goes back in. I did this a few times and sure enough, it does do that. Im gonna look the wiring diragram and seeif i can tap into it for the lights.

check to see if you have a brown and yellow wire on the back of the switch.One of those wires is for parking lights and the other (would be for fogs).I think the yellow is for the parking lights but I might be mistaken.You can just use a wire tap into that wire(if its the right one) and run your fogs with your parking lights(ridin durty mod)
