Will a 2005 6.0ltr. bolt into a 2001

I was wondering if a 2005 6.0 ltr will bolt into a 2001 f250 and match up to the transmission.

As far as a 6.0 matching up to a 7.3 trans no is the short answer

The bellhousings are different. Im not sure if the motor mounts will work or not. The 6.0 will fit, but I don't know what kind of mods you would have to do to bolt it in.

try DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions or FordCummins.com for some tranny help or info on taking the 7.3 out.

I know Elite diesel is wanting a project truck to swap a 6.0 into... But you will need the tranny too. Give them a call
