New to diesels and seeking advice on purchase

Hello, I registered here a little while ago. I'm trading my 98 cobra for a 99-f-350, 7.3.

If anyone could give me all the things to look out for on these particular trucks that would great. I've heard the cab corners are good for going on these as well as underneath the doors. What else should I look out for? Thanks!!

here is what I'm trading and getting.

That truck has 6.0 badges. Nice trade. As long as you take care of that truck it will last ya.

Nice looking cobra, so it's supercharged? Any 1/4 times? Atlantic Blue, right? I love that color. Where did you buy the coil covers? A buddy of mine made and sold some very similar to those.

Nice looking truck. Looks like a good trade as long as you are happy.

Thanks, yes it has a vortech on it. Pushing 6psi uncooled. Car ran a 12.20 at 115 on 17 inch nitto drag radials last time I had it at the track. Only ran it twice.

Color is bright atlantic blue, and the coil covers were from a guy on svtperformance.com. At this time, I really need a truck and this is what I was looking for. The mustang isn't practical since i'm doing alot of projects around the house. I figure I could always replace it down the road...
