my truck will no way start if its not plugged in its been about -25 here and the batts test okay glow plugs work correctly changed them last year my question can my starter be getting weak it cant seem to spin it over and draws my batts dead right awaybut maybe my batts are shot as soon as i turn the key on my batt gauge only goes up to the bottom of the picture of the batt hard to describe ill take pics and a video of it trying to start if its plugged in it still barely starts and if i jump start it it still barely cranks so could it just be a bad starter ive noticed it always has spun over longer than other trucks sorry about long thread just giving u all the info

The only way to know for sure is to have the starter load tested. Same with the batteries

how do you load test a starter?

You have to pull it and take it to an auto parts store. They have a test bench for that

First I would check all the cables for the starter. Any loose, dirty, corroded connections will cause resistance. Which will cause your problem as well.
