Rebuild the EBPV ?
What is the general concensus of rebuilding the EBPV or gutting it?
I've just placed an order with Diesel O-rings for a few items.... I see the rebuild kit listed there. I searched this EBPV,,, been beat to death before it seems like. But I have not seen yet the advantage of gutting it...... any opinions about rebuiling it? When I tackle rebuilding the turbo, installing a new wheel, etc, I want to get rid of any chances of future oil leaks. I guess the actuation shaft of the valve leaks at the seal pretty commonly? I have oil coming from my 01 F350, not the oil pump... I am thinking perhaps the turbo orings, and I need a new wheel anyway. Thanks, Russ Last edited by XR-2001; 01-08-2010 at 02:29 PM. |

i plan on gutting mine as it is sticking sometimes in the cold. I find it to be annoying when it opens and closes on stop and go driving, its not a very smooth transition, but i will miss the sound and how quickly it warmed mty truck up
