1211 and shakin at idle, hard to start

So im throwing a code 1211, and my truck sucks to start and shakes like crazy when it does. The ford tech told me it is the ipr and its showing low pressure,causing it to be hard to start also. So do you guys agree.

could be IPR, faulty ICP sensor, could be leak in HPOP system, 1211 code needs some diagnosis

1211 is set if ICP is 400 ish psi above or 275ish psi below desired pressure for about 7 seconds

would like to see the duty cycles % of the IPR, did they live scan the truck?

no they didn't do a live scan but it showed 1211 and low oil pressure. And the hpop isn't leaking

it could be just the IPR, but IMHO i'd hate to throw a 200 part on it without knowing a little more

Yea very true, the truck has 230,000 on it. And the abs isn't working either come to find out its a 780. abs control module. Luckily a good friend works there and can get both for 525. prices a jacked up out the roof

pull the plug on the icp sensor and see if theres oil down in there. if there is the icp sensor is going bad. just went and had to replace mine

which plug are u talking about. the end plug I guess First time workin on this part of the engine

They leak internally.

Pop your hood, look straight that the truck, on the front of the DS head there will be a plug with a purple seal-thingy on it. Check that.
