Body galvanized? Under the paint looks like that!

I have got a couple dings in my 2003 where the paint is blown off... One is bout four inches bottom of front wheel well from climbing over a log that bound up a branch a bit.. One is about maybe 2 inches, reported jackknifed a trailer by the previous Owner... And it looks like galvanized metal under the paint!!! Is that true? If it is, these things are going to be around for a loooooong time!! Wow, won't be a rust problem in these... At least that is the way it looks for the Lone Ranger.... Naaaw, can't be all galvanized.. Is it?

Regards, from the Last Frontier, Australia....

As far as I know they are galvanized. But I'm sure Marc will chime in and let us know if we are right or wrong.:wink2:

i've got a couple scratches that graduate from paint to undercoat to bare metal and i'm pretty sure the gray i'm seeing is primer not galvanized, but i may be wrong...
