Why do I not hear more about these on our trucks. Wouldnt that drop some unwanted lag off of the motor. Has to be good for a few ponies.

The main reason is they do not cool well enough on our trucks. I thought about them for the same reason as you, but I would not put one on mine.

You don't see one on my truck because I can't afford $600 for a flex a lite kit. For the average guy driving one around town they should work pretty well for them. They even say they aren't for use if your rig weighs more than 18,000#'s a lot of guys with their 5th wheels are going to be above that.
