Having trouble programming truck

Hi, so i bought a 2000 f250 powerstroke last thursday and got a superchip for it last night

I went to plug it in and went through the settings and it said saving stock settings so i waited for a few minutes and it kept doing that loop where it would say saving stock settings and then start over

anyone know what could be causing this?

I tried searching and it doesnt sound like i have a chip in there right now because it doesnt blow any black smoke at all

Best bet is to contact super chips. Just because there is no smoke doesn't mean you don't have a chip.

pull the drivers side kick panel off and see if computer has anything in between its connector and the wiring harness if it does then it has a chip
