New Guages ??
Alright boys Im getting Egt, boost and trans temp guages fior x-mas. What is involved and how hard is it going to be to install everything?

not hard to install at all. Time consuming more than anything. The egt needs to go into the drivers side manifold. The boost can be tee'd into the map line...the trans temp...not sure on the 4100r. I'll look in the help/mod foroums and post a link...

Thanks bud. When you say time consuming, you mean all day or a couple hours? Cause Im gonna have to go outside as soon as i open them to put them on ha

heres a link. What gauges are you getting? All the gauges install pretty much the same. There's alittle difference between the mfg though. Be sure to run a seperate ground circuit for the lights. I cant rember if its isspro ir diprcol(?) but they have a controler box that they plug into. Keep the boxes away from each other.

Im not sure what brand because its a gift i just know im getting some. Is there a brand that is bad and i should not use or are they all ok to use??
I just looked over that guide and it shouldnt be anything i cant handle. |

I would want Isspro and wouldn't be shy about saying so. Install will take about 4 hours taking your time. The 4R100M has a test port location on the drivers side just above the oil pan. I would make sure you get a install kit with all the fittings you will need , otherwise you will be driving all over town trying to find everything.
