New guy and first post

New to the forum with a question for you folks. My neighbor has a 2000 F250Lariat 2WD with the 7.3 and 105000K miles on it. Truck towed his camper from VA to Orlando several times a year and a couple of trips outwest. Truck is bone stock and looks perfect especially for the year. He'll sell me the truck for 8K whats your thoughts on price for the rig and anything I should be looking for on her?

Just check it over for the obvious stuff. Maintenance, how it shifts. And problems it's had.
