Loud Injectors?

Hi Guys, my motor has always been loud, but when I dump some injector cleaner in the tank, holy $h!t, and the K mod had the same effect. Normally the radio has to be up the 4th dot in order to start hearing it over the motor, now it's like the 5ish spot!

We have an E'99, '01, & '03, and they're less than half as loud as the one in my sig.
All with basically the same mods and around 200,000 miles, mine sitting at 264,000

I figured there can never be too much info.

Any ideas as to what to do about this?

2-stroke oil?

New injectors?

Injector testing?

Thanks, WB

I drives just like the rest, and kicks their @ss when the 5.6k is on.
No odd smoke or anything like that, but it has just been overly loud since I took the test drive ,and it was bone stock then. The only thing we drive are the trucks I've listed, so i'm not just a sissy about it.
If it makes any difference, when i first changed my fuel filter there was sooo much crud in the bottom of the fuel bowl that i pulled it for a good cleaning, and that was a PITA.

Is it just that set of injectors, or are injectors as a whole always going to be loud in this motor?

Thanks, WB

Bunch of crud in your fuel bowl?
I had that too.... I pulled the tank yesterday and dis-assembled the plastic filter case on the fuel pickup. The 2 filters in there were completely full of crap. You may want to drop your tank & clean those out.

Yea, the K mods made it louder, but the injectors in this truck have been loud since bone stock. I was wondering if excessive crud in the injectors from the previous owner never turning a wrench in 259,000 mi's(service dept's friend), and put through as much work as a nissan could handle.
The control freak in the family has a motto of "With good matenenece and no mods this motor will last forever"..... and I can't convince him that chips are OK if used responsibly, and won't kill the life of the motor. All he hears about are clutches and trannys popping, and not how good they really are, reason for the short mods list. All stuff listed is in the form of "tweaking"
So, if you hear or know of any chiped or high modded trucks till high milage, tell me!

Back on subject,
I figured if the injectors themselves are the problem for all the noise, I'd push for stage I or II, rebuilding the existing etc...
Unfortunately, that probably won't get done in the near future.

I'll check out the fuel tank when I put the trailer hitch in.

Thanks for responses
