fuel pressure

i was looking at getting a fuel pressure guage but wasnt sure which one to get as far as how many psi. how many fuel psi do these trucks put out with out having any fuel mods?

Yeah 100 psi would be good, stock will be around 55psi. Make sure you get a electonic gauge, you don't want fuel running up inside your passenger compartment.

i thought the eletronic guages werent any good for fuel pressure?

never heard of that... def get the electronic version... its uses a pressure sensor and then just relays that ot the gauge inside the cab

I believe someone has said there is a schrader valve somewhere around the fuel bowl.. I have yet to really look for it and you can hook into there. A electronic fuel press gauge is very easy to install. I put one on my 96 cobra couple years ago when I put a vortech on her. They work very well.
