4 speed auto (4r100) replaced by 5 speed

Will a 5 speed auto fit in a 2000 F350 without making major changes? Has a 4r100 now. Is there a reflash for the PCM ?

Will not work... A built 4r100 would be stronger and cheaper in the long run...

a zf6 will bolt up to the bell housing in a 2000, the 5 speed will not though.

Nope... Differant PCM/ECM configuration... not going to happen, and the 5r110 is not all that hot anyway...
