What to go with

okay well i am not going to lift my truck anymore, and after i sink the money into it to fix it up im gonna put some aftermarket stuff on it. so far i have on my list

gauges- buying tonight
5" budget kit or dual 7" mitres- what do you think would look better?
Tw chip/PHP chip- not sure yet
ATS Housing and X wheel- low on list
BTS/John wood Valve body- what ones better.

im hopin this will make my truck better than the canned tune slug it is now

any suggestions post em up

Either valve body will be great!! I would start with that wheel first, that cured all my surge issues.

you cant go wrong with either valve body.. but make sure you get that before you get your tunes so that it can be tuned to that specific valve body.... 5" reg exhaust looks better IMO.. dont get me wrong i love stacks but they get old pretty quick

Gauges = Only Isspro
Intake = you already have
Exhaust, you don't need a 4" system let alone a 5", the factory restriction is when they necked down the exhaust to go through a 2.5" muffler to save some $$$, either straight pipe it or use the Walker BTM and save your $$$. This isn't the popular way to go but it is the truth and many have proved it to be so. If your system is shot go 4" because you can get a aftermarket 4" cheaper than a stock 3.5" system.
Valvebody for trans, FTVB, BTS, or JW you pick, FTVB has been doing them longer than anyone else!!!
Then and only then should you add more ponies
Wait on the WW and turbo housing and see if you have surge, many don't. I never have.
That is how I would proceed.

thanks NCH. im getting the C2 autometers off driver tonight. then im going to probably just do a budget stealth kit for the time being then im going to get a valve body then im going to get the custom tunes, i might go with power hungry performance and get the FU chip so i can change it whenever i want lol.

yeah im thinking so. im also gonna get one of ur CCV mods off stealth too. ive veered away from stacks for the time being..... dont wnat the hole in my bed for the rest of its life lol. but im debating on just straight piping it for now and getting like a 5" tip for it. decisions decisions lol
