Factory Cat Converter
I have heard that the factory cats are not much of a restriction, but would i lower my EGT by removing it?Also is it possible that the cat could be burning off soot? i have noticed that my truck smokes a lot more before the cat has come up to temp. Thanks

I am not going to comment on illegal activity, but many do remove them, just make sure you keep it because Diesel emissions is coming, trust me it's coming!!! Just watch CA that is where stupid laws usually start. I use to live there so I know what I am talking about. Best thing I ever did was leave that God forsaken Communist state!!! No offense to our fine CA Mmembers, and owners, lol!!!!

yup I really dont plan to take it off right now, as i like how my truck sounds with it on. If i ever take it off, i will definatly keep it... prob going to need it soon
. Just wondering if the cat burns soot off, and if taking it off will reduce EGT's.
