dana 50 solid

What is the lowdown on the solid dana 50? I got a line on one for a good price. Is is very strong other than having smaller ring and pinion?
Can I swap the gears from my IFS 50?
How bout the 10.25 gears into the 10.5 rear housing?

well alot of people dont like them compared to the 60s but alot of diesel have them, excursions with diesel and i had one that had welded carrier with 35s under a bronco and never broke it. both my dad trucks have them and dont have probllems. and yes the 50 ttb gears will swap. the 10.25 will swap, when i called dts they said now the gears are cut the same to generalize it.
