Actual hp

whats the actual hp that a stock 02 7.3 auto produces on a dyno. what do you think would be an accurate number on my truck. all my buddies say its close to 400 but i know its no where near that. .what do you guys think?

i think if u check the passenger valve cover it will say it....i'd say 230 ish....but i'm not sure exactly

yeah so id be lucky to push 300 with my bully dog on the 120 setting. god i need custom tunes

With canned tunes it probly not running what the box says any way. I also want a custom tune, thinkin TW!

yeah i know cuz with doing the math id be close to 350hp. but i know thats not true. and yeah i want tonys tunes or a dp tuner also. really bad lol.

custom tunes are the ONLY way to go....theres plenty of options out there, they all are great

yeah dont pay attention to the box numbers and definitely dont just add them to what it says your stock horsepower is, with canned tunes on a SD Ive seen guys dyno between 285-305

yeah my plans are to go with custom tunes some rosewood stage 2's, a garret 38 charger and bts tranny. but thats a ways down the way. or if not a full built tranny a custom built oen once i learn about it at school.
