02 buying questions

I have a 94 powerstroke so I know some stuff to look for! Would you be hesitant to buy this truck. And I dont know a whole lot about it yet. This is what the guy says it has, dealer.

2002 with 120000 on it and it has a 6 inch lift looks like 35's,ATS trans, turbo, injectors and some 3 stage chip, also propane injection, a winch with the big front bumper and rear. duel exhaust, intake I belive. and A camper looking shell with like double doors? Thats all I know for now just wondering if it would be worth looking at. Wants 19,800. Hopefully find out more tommorrow!

I just KBB'd mine. In "great condition" or whatever its worth 16,500, mine is in great shape minus the key mark on the door and a tiny dent on the fender.. everything else is awesome. Even then i got it for less than 12... so yeah you just gotta think about your location and how much they are comparable around..

the lift and PROPANE would scare me.

make sure the lift is done right - find out what he replaced in the front end recently.

quite honestly, i wouldn't buy a motor that's run any sort of juice...unless i knew the owner/history well....but, that's for you to decide...

Well went and drove it, ran good everything was tight now blow bye in the motor. Decided not to buy it because like you guys said just scared of the propane and all the other stuff. No Paperwork with it and he raised the price from what his wife said to 20,299 so i told him to keep it!

RAISED THE PRICE!!!

LOL - good move.

i had a guy who wouldn't budge off his price of 12k. i offered him 11,900 and he wouldn't take it so, i told him to keep it.

there's a lot of them out there if you're patient. look for that single owner vehicle that's stock (pretty much) and has been maintained and you'll have your money's worth!
