Banks Transcommand

I'm contemplating installing one on a '03 F-350 with 200,000 miles on it.
A couple of opinions please.

thanks

If you got it cheap and you don't have a chip on your truck it will work. But all you have to do is get a custom chip from anybody on here and it will do the same thing...

Thanks layson
I'm unfamiliar with a trans chip.
Where can I read a little about it, who makes them & a bit about installing them, if you could

Well any of the custom chips that you can get from TW, DP, Swamps, DI... the list goes on... but they all do the same thing in their tuning that the transcommand does.

So you could even have your PCM burned with one tune, say an econo tune, and it will do everything for you and even a little better performance. That wouldn't cost you very much, but just some down time during shipping...
