Can i put heated power mirrors onto my 99.5?
I have power mirrors on my truck now. Is it possible to put on the heated power mirrors with turn signals? I have a chance to buy a set.
How hard is it to change? Do i need a whole new wiring kit or will it be able to simply plug into what I already have on the truck already. ![]() . |

Yeah, the search feature on this site sucks! I would say you'd have no problem getting the turn signals to work, but you will have to run a wire to the mirror and find the turn signal wires under the steering wheel, which should be easy if you have the wiring info. About the heat- I'm not sure, but it shouldn't be too hard.

You're gonna need to do your own wiring, but it shouldn't be too bad. You'll need to tap into the running lights, turn signals, and some source of 12v+ when the key is on for the defrost.

Really helps if you know the proper wording for doing a search.
