Good Price Or NOT?

Hello Everyone,
I am as of tomorrow hopefully about to become a first time PSD owner. Im looking at a 03 Lariat 2wd Crew Cab. See link......

2003 Ford F250 $12,990 - North Alabama Wholesale Autos - Cullman, AL 35055-2405 Dealer

It has 156000 miles on it. Miles shouldnt be a problem but is there anything in specific I should be looking for when purchasing a used 7.3? Is 12900 a decent price for this truck as long as everything checks out ok? The prices around here vary greatly. So it has been a hard quest in finding the right one. Any suggestions would greatly help

For a 2wd truck I think its overpriced.

Personally I will not ever own a 2wd p/u truck. I would not be able to get off my property when it rains alot of the time. LOL

I agree a little overpriced. Should be able to find a comparable 4wd for the same money if patient.

Im not sure. Here down South you would think prices would be competetive with as many trucks that are around. Any good 4wd with 150000 or more miles on them you wont pay less than 15,000 for a 03 and that may be a xlt and not a lariat

I dont have any need for a 4wd. All my use will be road only. Thats the only reason Ive looked at the 2wd to keep the cost down. I think everyone down here thinks their bumpers have gold in them

Eh i paid 11800 for my 02 with 158K XLT pkg. But thats a lariat.. so ehhh if the prices locallyy are higher then obviously go for it if you dont want to go elsewhere.

Well, that is the ASKING price. I'd say jew them down to 11,500 and it would probably be a decent deal.

I just bought a 2000 f350 4x4 lariat with 153000 on the ticker for 10000 seems clean and straight

IMO, around 10K would be a starting point, maybe trucks are just cheaper up here in MI, especially 2wd trucks.

The only trucks I could find out here in CA were all fleet trucks.. this one was probably used for daily driving(my mileage is now about 159K) and it wasnt some fleet truck.
