VAN TURBO

I just installed a van turbo and gutted pedestal on my truck. I had one question for those who have one. When I get on it and build the boost to 15 pounds plus and then let off the gas it makes like a woosh sound. Is it supposed to make a woosh sound with this turbo? My stocker didnt do this. I thought maybe with the bigger turbo and no ebpv it would. Both the stocker and van turbo have wicked wheels.

I could be wrong about this but....

The stocker turbo had a wastegate and the van turbo doesnt....I think.

That COULD be the difference but, I have to be honest....I am not sure.

Any other suggestions fellas........

Ya the van turbo does not have a wastegate and thats the other thing I was thinking could be causing it. Just forgot to put that in post. Im just making sure its ok.
