2000 7.3 intake air filter
Does anyone know the max.amount of vacuum ( in inches of water ) that you should pull at wide open on a 7.3-----------25 in ??? 35??? for 300 plus hp. I am talking about the pressure difference going through the air filter. ( not the engine) like the button sensor on most filters -----------------at what pressure diff does it go into the red showing to replace the filter?

I believe he is asking what it should pull in front of the turbo in the intake maybe? And the answer is still as close to 0 as possible, if you have a vacuum then your turbo wants more air than it is getting. to much restriction in the filter and intake
