Keyless Entry off a 99 F150

Will the keyless entry from a 1999 F150 work on my F250.

If so, how do I program it? DO I hold the lock button and turn ignition on and off approx. 6 times until I hear the locks go click?

Yes they are power locks......

I will also make sure battery in remote is good.....

yes it will work, cycle the off,on,off,on,off,on,off,on, the locks will cycle press button on remote locks will cycle again turn key off
program compleat.

It will work if your truck had remote entry from the factory.

How do I check to see if it has one?

I bought it used... I tried the off/on cycle but did not hear locks click at all. Is this a sign that it doesn't have one?
