Truck too old for an OASIS report?
Went down to local dealership today to see if they could run an OASIS for me. The woman had a little trouble. She took down my VIN# and told me to call later and she would see what she could do. When I called back she said the truck was too old and it couldn't be run. The computer was showing some kind of error, but when she ran a newer truck through it would work. Could the truck be too old to run a report? Its a 1999 F250. Does this sound right?

Thanks for the help. I was mostly interested in finding out when the trans was replaced. I found a Remanufactured sticker on the tranny and wanted to find out when it was put in. I asked if they could tell anything from the numbers on the sticker, but they said they couldn't. Guess I'm SOL.

Its 10 years, when I worked at ford. And thats by the manufacture date on the vin sticker. It could be a 2000 model and not be able to run the oasis if it was built in late 1999.
