Idling problem

When I start my truck it surges quite a bit for a few seconds then runs great. if I "tease" the motor once or twice before starting it then start it up it fires up normally and runs great. any ideas? fuel pressure is good i know that much.

Also if the truck has been running in the past 15min 20min It will start right up normally
