Vehicle weight question

Does anyone have a ruff idea what my truck would weigh. The registration says a little over 5,000. I don't think that is right, and the closest scale is a ways away. As always, thanks for the help!

Im going say probobly closer to 6000-6500, because I believe some of the Crew Cab guys are weighing 7500.

I would guess to say between 6500 and 7000 if it is 4x4. Just extra weight of front axle and all that. I think mine weighs in a little over 8k.

My '99 F-350 super cab dually weighed in at a whopping 6,700 and it's two wheel drive. Here in the Communist republic of CA. I now pay $305.00/year because of the weight.

Thanks for the input. I want to purchase a four post lift for in my shop. The price varies depending on a 7,8 or 9,00 pound lift. I'm thinking of going with the 8,000.

Your supercab W/O anything in it will weigh right around 7,000 lbs. This is full of fluids, except a few gallons of fuel.
