Looking to buy my first powerstroke!!

Hello this is my first post here. I have found a 2002 ford f350 crew cab dually for sale. I have everything together to purchase it just wondering if there is anything I should now about it. The truck has 175xxx miles. leather interior captains chairs. I currently drive a 01 dodge 2500 cummins with 226xxx miles on her. Thank you for any info.

Whats the price. Does he have service records. Do you have an Oasis report done on it. Some things I would look in to.

It is my work truck that i have been driving for the last 4 months. I have been around the truck for the last 2 years off and on. I work in the oil fields of north dakota so the truck has been used. The only problem that i have noticed is the lack of power and the oil turns black very fast, compared to my dodge any way.

Oh and i am giving 5,000 for the truck.

I also found one that is a 2000 but they have been using either to start it since the weather went bad. Is that bad on them powerstrokes? since they have glow plugs and not intake heaters.
