Even the dealer has no clue.

I have a 2003 F-250sd with 7.3 diesel. Trans stopped shifting and only has 4th gear. Will shift into 2nd by hand. No lights - no check engine - no overdrive light (on or off). Will not show any codes and the dealer just thinks that there is something wrong internally. Not much help to me. Anyone have any ideas?

If the likeage is in yact then it must be a internal failure. Sorry for the bad news.

Time for a BTS

If you are going to spend the money to rebuild it, just spend the little more and get a BTS that will never fail again.

Found out that the solenoid control pack had gone bad. Watch out for plastic parts in your solenoid if rebuilding, get them with cast alum. Thanks for the help
