Transmission Troubles?

Hey i have a 2002 f-250 i was having troubles with my tranny about a month ago it was slippin when it was goin into every gear, one day it slipped and got stuck in 2nd gear and my overdrive was flashing. So i took my tranny out and had it completly rebuilt and put it back in. Now all the sudden its starting to do it again an im all out of ideas can anyone help me please?

Did you replace the black shift selector on the side of the tranny?I cant think of the proper term for it.
Did you replace the converter?

The torque converter is the weak link in the 4R100 trans.

you talking about the transmission range sensor?

I think that is it..cant remember to be honest.I know my tranny guy said to replace it.He said once you try and pry it off,most of the time they are junk.Just a thought.

no i never did change my tourqe convertor or my nuetral safety switch or the shift selector whatever its called

Your converter probobly came apart. Try changing the range sensor on the side of the trans first as that is the cheaper solution. But if that doesnt fix it plan on replacing your converter and probobly go through the trans again.
