New tranny done good!!

Well, finally got to take out the 5ver this past weekend. It was a great trip for several reasons. First, we got to have some fun with good friends from outa town. Second, it was great to get away if not but for a couple days, and finally, I got to see how my new tranny was going to perform with a load on it. I was impressed. Shifts were crisp and clean, no bouncy banjo and no slip and slide. Temps were lower than I expected too. I am very happy with the way this turned out. So I guess I can say the weekend was a success all the way around!!

Well I had almost 2 grand saved up in cash and then dropped 400 on front brakes and rotors and another 300 on rear brakes and rotors. LOL

So I'm back down to around 1,000 in my "truck fund", but school reimbursement and taxes are coming back soon so I should be right back up there.

Once I get about 3500 saved up I'll be headed down. Might be killing 2 birds with one stone though - my buddy is looking at a Cummins a bit south of ya and if he buys it guess who's gonna be trailering it

I got a place I can stay in NC so I was planning on making it a few day trip anyway.
