Trust me. These motors are designed to run on the rev limiter of 3200 rpms all day long and nothing will happen to them. Power doesn't start falling off closer to 3grand anyways. You are way under shifting.

cowboyboots search 5.6k vs. 10k and that will tell you everything and more that you will ever want to know about resistors. if you can read it from beginning to end then you have more patience than i do.

When i am pulling a load i will let it hit 2600 rpms, but much after that and egts get over 1100 degrees, sorry i have posted up a little while ofrgot about this thread. I know that the egr delete is for the 6.0 but some guy put it up on another forum for the 7.3, i was pretty sure it wasnt possible but thought i would still ask.

CCV Mod
I would add a coolant filter and change to a true ELC coolant, Get rid of the crappy 2000 headlights, go with the 03 or 05 style. Just a few ideas off the top of my head. PM me with any ?
