ats intake housing?
Ready to install new housing this weekend. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to get rid of that turbo surge. Also talked to a local diesel shop and they were telling me about putting a bb in the elbow of the wastegate line to plug it off, would this throw a code?

I have never heard of the ball bering thing, can't help you with that one. I shortened my wast gate rod 3 turns, and disconnected the actuator line. But since you are going that far, you might want to put the o-ring kit in the pedestal, save having to do it later. And make sure the torque settings are met when you put it all together. Check the wheel for pitting and the blades for sharpness, it's cheaper to do it now while it is out anyways. Just a few thoughts for you. Good luck with it.

One more thing soak all of your bolts and v-band clamps with penetrant the night before you tear into it, it helps

Thanks for the advice guy's. Just finished installing it and wasn't as hard as I thought it would be but just a little time consuming [about 3 hrs.]. Over-all very pleased so far not a peep from the turbo other than that awesome whine! Didn't seem to drop EGT's like I hoped for but one thing at a time. Thanks again for the replies this site rocks!!!
