The easiest way to explain why it isnt the oil is the fact that if the motorcraft oil was the problem there would be literally hundreds of thousands of trucks having the same problems.

You are the only one that has ever come up with this theory or posted something along its line

Clearly, I am aware that it is strange, hence the post asking for others experiences.

Believe me that was my first thought, but since neither of the repairs I have done failed(yet), it is clearly not operator/installer error.
