Nice weather's here...time start fixing problems...
Ok so in the past two weeks or so I've determined the following:
The truck has 85K, I get some clunking during very sharp (like pulling into a parking spot) turns and on bumpy roads. I also have a weird thing going on where I can feel something flex or shift and I can hear a "thunk" under the floorboards when I brake. Definitely ball joints right?
I've got a rear "thunk" when I take off or apply heavy throttle which everyone pretty much says is the rear u-joint. This is a simple drop the shaft, pop the old one out and put a new one in right?
The GEM is causing the radio and dome light to do some weird things-nothing else in the truck is affected at all. I've been ignoring it, but not having a radio sucks-can I do it myself?
