Driveshaft Angle

I just completed a 4" lift on my '02. My question is this: Should the driveshaft be as straight as possible, or should there be an angle in it? As of right now, w/o any shims, it has a pretty decent angle in it. I'm guessing that if I can get enough shims tucked in there, that it will get rid of the small amount of take off vibration I'm getting. It is not axle wrap, as I have a 5" springs in the rear, no blocks, so that should have gotten rid of any possible axle wrap. Again, driveshaft angle suggestions?

All input welcome, thanks.

You can still have axle wrap with springs or blocks...

Shims are easy to install and probably would be an easy fix for your shudder during take off. The straighter it is the better off you will be...

I agree with all that ^.

Axle wrap is still possible, straighter is better, I would shim it as straight as you could get it. I did when I put a 4" in my 02.

5 shims later and the bounce was cut by 3/4. 7 shims later and the bounce is pretty much non-exsistant and only a small bounce can be felt at take off, IF you are paying attention. HUGE differance compared to the one shim that was on it in the beginning. Striaghter was for sure better. Thanks guys.

I shimmed my carrier bearing 1" down with my 4" lift and it got rid of all the vibration. I did not change the angle of my axle, it was left stock.

7 shims?
How thick are your shims just out of curiosity.
I used two 3/8" shims on my carrier bearing when I did my 4"
