My 03 Super Duty blower motor speeds only work on 1 2 and high. The third and fourth setting there is no change just stays on speed 2. And when on hi it seems weak. I replaced the resistor but that made no change at all.
I had the same issue I got a new blower motor from orileys and it wouldn't blow much come to find out it was reversed I swapped the wires around on the plug and it works like a charm pull the squirrel cage and make sure it's rotating the right way
Oh I see you haven't replaced the blower yet. You can get a new one for around $40 at orileys they have them in stock. They tend to start dragging and hanging up in the motor windings and eventually lock up completely mine was on its way out for a year it would freeze up and I would hit the motor with a hammer and it would take back off
I had the med high setting on mine not working, and it ended up being the contacts in the switch were dirty. Cleaned them and it been fine. Not sure if that's what you have going on, but maybe worth checking out.
