no wait to start, service engine soon light only

so here is the deal.....i was workin on puttin in a bullydog outlook in my 99 i hooked some stuff up to see if i could get it to work. turned the key on and nothin. unhooked the stuff and all i get now is service engine soon. no wait to start. fuel pump is not runin. i can get the truck to turn over but it will not start. its acting like its in a limp mode. i know i plugged the stuff in wrong but it was a last ditch effort to try and get it to work needless to say. So what gives did i fry my new comp or is it stuck in a limp mode??? i have no scanner to scan codes with truck will not crank so its sittin in its parkin spot right now. All my friends are back home who run sct so i can't pull any codes.. What should i do? i tried to unhook the batteries and let it reset but no luck with that... any ideas guys?

When I hooked up my bullydog outlook monitor all I that I had to plug in was the chord running to the obdII port, the map sensor, and the thermocouple.

I don't see where it would have caused a no wts light. The biggest thing I could see is the map sensor tripping the ses light if the harness is bad

Make sure all your connections are right, especially the connections from the harness to the monitor.

If that doesn't solve the problem I would unhook the battery cables and reconnect them after they sit for a bout 15 minutes.

could you draw a diagram of what you have?? im using a monitor for a 6.0 but its suppose to be compatable with the 7.3 when using the 7.3 harness.

No WTS light is sure signs of a PCM failiure, first fuse #30, if it is blown replace, if it blows again, unplug fuel heater at back of the bowl, if the fuse is good, I would be looking for a new puter.

NCH

I wonder how you fried the computer though just by hooking up the monitor.
