So i ordered new door adjar switches replaced em while reinstalling the latch assy i broke a white plastic cilp that hold a threaded rod from the outside door handle ...If you have to replace them get ready just a few bucks more like $28.00 from Ford OUCH !!!!!!! i wish you would have asked.....u usually dont have to replace the door adjar switch.....if you spray about half a can of brake clean right into the latch......then spray some white teflon grease into it to replace the lube you got rid of with the brake clean.....it usually fixes those switches.....it only last for about a year or so in dusty states....but its a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing the switches....and a lot faster..........Marc

A buddy of mine had the same problem with his 02 F-150. He checked on the price of that switch and decided to try to clean it like you recommended above. Used WD40 I believe. Definetely cheaper And it worked
