TW Chip installed, now the tranny needs help!

SO I installed the TW chip about a month ago, love it. But now I would like to build up the tranny a bit to make sure it does not take a crap out on me. It feels as if it is slipping somewhat but not at all bad between the 2-3 shift.....any help or thoughts on maybe throwing in a new valve body or tq converter? the truck has 105k miles on it, and has been babied all its life so I dont want to throw in much over 1k in mods to the tranny....thanks for your help guys....and keep on strokin

I think you're going to have to spend twice that to get one that won't let you down. $1900-$2300 is probably a more realistic number.
