front leaf to coilover??

so as the title implies, I am sick of my front leafs, I have replaced the bushings last year, replaced the little urethane shims this year and the damned things are making noise again, and its annoying! plus I hate it that it takes so much to turn it around...

So what is involved, has anyone done it, could I pull parts off of a wrecked 05 06 07? let me know what yall think, or if I am crazy

Thanks

easy 2 day swap just get everything off the front. I put '08 SD axles and suspension on my '97 so you won't have any problems.

yeah, pics would be nice, you did this on an obs, since i have an sd and already has straight front axle, would I need the front axle form donor truck? or could I just find the arms and everything else to do it... but would it just be much easier to get the whole deal including axle from the donor truck?

All you need is the complete suspension and front axle, coil buckets and frame radius arm mounts..drill and bolt up. I think my webshots has a few pics.

Precisely why I am interested in taking off parts from a wrecked truck, if I'm dropping 3k its going to turbo and injectors. lol

So caryt would my 16x10 wheels that I currently run work on this setup, if not what wheels would I have to run? And is the bolt pattern the same as my current rear axle... or would I have to find a rear axle as well?

Thanks
