Makes sense. I didn't know if it was something like that, or they had surplus forged to use up, or had problems with the first batch of PMR's.

I'm the second owner, but I bought it a little over a year old. The guy didn't have it long.

That said I'm pretty sure my 3/4 ton has 1 ton springs, so... I'm pullin the plug. No clue what all he did to it.

Well I guess I mean where is it on the engine? Is that by the block heater or what?

It's aft of the oil filter on the drivers side of the motor, just forward of the bellhousing.

ima check my inspection hole today just to make sure. But if those SN numbers are right then im good ta go!

what are you guys using to pull the plug with? can't find anything in my arsenal that will fit.
also can't find a sn anywhere. I have nothing on my drivers side valve cover. any other place the sn can be found.
