only down the track

Ok i have a piece of Beep k&n filter untill i can get the whole intake from AFE and as you all know im pulling some major egts in the long run. Is it at all possible to run straight AIR going down the track. i mean i cant suck that much stuff in a quarter mile and maybe this will help cool it down.

I agree with Luke..

It may seem like just a short time, but there is dust in the air, along with bugs, and lots of other stuff that can be harmful to your engine.

Invest in something to cool the temps, like water/meth kit.

^^what he said. If you're serious about it look into a turbo upgrade to help with egt's as well as an afermarket intercooler.
