Id say 6.0 intercooler or an aftermarket set up and/or water meth injection.

Yup, what he said. You get on it solid, the EGTs are going to go up, with the big rubber it's working even harder. I didn't notice a gear change in there, so shes just a huffin to get up to that speed. I think you will find a differance with the AFE stage 2, and a set of 4.88s.

Gord.

I'd second a gear change first. You're probably luggin and that's gotta be killing your EGT's... when you say hot... HOW hot are your EGT's getting?

Also I'd change chips... I've heard stories of those chips getting out of control with the EGT's...

I also notice your FUTURE mod includes an AFE intake - I hope you get it on there soon w/ a chip and big tires. After that a stock 6.0 I/C and turbo would be my direction!

you shouldn't go over 1350 deg for very long at all if at all ever, just becausse your gauge turns red at 1550 doesn't mean you can go there. Get rid of that K&N and get a tymar. Intercooler or water injection will cool it down also.

Dang , that is hot. I have basically the same setup and the highest I have seen when gettin' on it is mid to high 700's. My probe is mounted after the turbo so you can add around 300 to that number. Maybe it is the taller tires. I'm runnin 35's.

You better add more than 300. I mounted mine post turbo first and later moved it to the proper location and noticed about 300 on a normal ride, but when I stand on it the variation was more like 500 difference... I've got a 6oh and it might be a little different. When it was post turbo I didn't notice a huge swing when I stood on it, but pre turbo standing on it will cause a huge swing...

If you havent re-geared yet that would be next thing to do especially with you wanting to go to 49's. An AFE stage 2 air intake will also lower your temps. You can try a bigger intercooler or chemincal intercooling which would be water injection, you really dont need the meth for cooling purposes. Also if you dont have the speedo recalibrated youre doing way over 90. I know in my truck at 70 im running 90 so youre probably 110-120 when the speedo is reading 90.
