foil delete

What does the foil delete do? and does anyone have a video of what it makes the truck sound like.

It makes the intake a little louder, to tell you the truth I did not notice to much more noise. It did make the engine bay look a lot cleaner. If you have a stock exhaust you will notice a significant change in the noise but I have the 4" magnaflow and it covers most of the noise from the intake. I say do it, I don't know why I waited as long as I did.

The only purpose of the foil was to deaden the turbo sound. Some people think it was for heat shielding. Who the hell wouldn't want a better sound from their turbos? For shame Ford, for shame.

didn't notice any difference in sound. I think it looks a lot better without the foil.

I hear that. That foil sucks, especially for if the foil itself ever tears....that horsehair stuff inside it is unsightly. Thank God I've got an upgraded IC with new boost tubes.
