hey guys i love what you all do on this forum ! wow !i have learned so much since joining ,lots of amazing info !

quick question{really just 1 of many to come } -i believe i have a boost leak some where on my 01 excursion {7.3} cause its only poppin 14-15 lbs of boost . i ordered a boost detector and new boots ,but i was wondering if there was any type of sealant that goes on the i\c couplers\boots ? thanx any help would be greatly appreciated ! as for the boots needing sealant, no. have you checked your checked your boots yet? they might have just slipped off the tubes.

Is the Excursion stock or chipped? Stock you wont see much more than 15-18 pounds of boost

yea i have checked the boots and it is chipped\exhaust \afe stage 2\bigboost also ?????????????????//////

Still wont see much more than that with a superchips

Even with a Superchips he should see 20lbs of boost. There is no sealant, although some use hairspray to keep them from popping, just make sure the clamps are good n tight and there are no rips or tears in them.

thanx for all the help guys , i should have joined this site along time ago !but i just have had so many projects in the past that i dont think i couldve handle another ! i do wanna make my x as fast as possible w\out going to crazy and this site has already helped me so much ! i made my ccv mod last night from Guzzles website just have to install it ! thanx again GOD Bless you all !

i never did on my old truck with a superchips.
