POR-15

Well I just ordered some POR-15. I live in Michigan and it’s the worst place to try and keep a truck nice! The truck is from KY and it really doesn't have much rust on the underbody, very little and what it does have its just surface rust on some of the body tie-ins or brace or whatever you call them. Well I plan on undercoating it very shortly but I am going to touch it up with the POR-15 stuff and was wondering who has you it here and what you think of it.

Also if you have any pictures of where you used it that would be sweet!

I just used it to paint the inside of my frame in the engine bay and the new oil pan when I had to pull the engine. I am really happy with it. Here are some pics

Thanks for the pictures, how hard was the prep work? did you just wire brush it up and clean it with their metal ready stuff?
Looks like it worked good for ya, looks like new. I am curious as to how it holds up over time!

For prep work I wire brushed it with an air grinder, then used their marine clean and metal prep stuff and did two good coats

POR15, Inc. - Stop Rust Permanently - Repair Gas & Fuel Tanks its not cheap but it goes a long way, I used about a sixth of the gallon to do all that

Thanks for the link Matt, next summer I will be removing my bed and getting the frame coated as it has alot of surface rust.

I ordered it in smaller cans, it says that is you get any water at all in the can the rest is trash! It dries with moisture some how.

I want to take my bed off and get under there also, as I said there isn't much rust under the truck but there is a little starting where the bed mounts to the frame and I want to clean that up... I hate rust of any kind!!!
