my truck used to dump out black smoke every time id mash it to the foor but now it dont is it the newer fuel or is somthin wrong the truck still has the same power can any of you guys help me out

There hasnt been any "new" fuel out in a while. Extra Low sulpher or whatever it is has been out a while so that makes me think its something wrong with the truck. What are your EGT's and boost numbers like?

evrything is the same as its always been same numbers on both gauges ,it still has the same power just no smoke what could be wron egt temp is about 300 at 55 mph the most boost it has is 18

Sorry to hi-jack, but are all trucks supposed to dump out black smoke every time you hit it to the floor? Mine puts out a little amount to moderate, but not every time, and it definitely does NOT throw a LOT of smoke when it does

It just depends on what you have done to your truck. If you have a chip and a few other mods yes it should everytime.

yes mine on stock doesnt really smoke much at all, but with the chip on 80e it smokes when I mash the pedal down--- every time!!!!
