dana 50 or 60

Does anybody know what year(s) they put dana 60s in the front diff. of 99 up SDs. And how can you tell the diff between the dana 50s or 60s?? Or how can you be sure that its a dana 60 in general?? Thanks.

You should be able to tell from the tag on the axle... But all F350's had D60 and i think in 02 they starting putting D60's in the 250's
